The service
Chizu is a mind map of your life with to-dos, notes, links, images, charts and a focus timer. It runs on the web and on phones.
You can connect AI assistants such as Claude or Gemini. They can read your map and suggest changes. Nothing they suggest changes your map until you approve it.
Your account
You need an account to use Chizu. Keep your sign-in details secure and tell us if you think someone else has used your account.
You must be at least 16 years old to use Chizu.
Free trial and plans
New accounts get a 14-day free trial. No card is needed for the trial.
After the trial, Chizu costs US$10 a month or US$50 a year. Sales tax, VAT or GST is added where it applies and is shown before you pay.
Plans renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in Account → Plan. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you have paid for.
We do not refund part-used periods, except where the law where you live requires it. If that law gives you a right to cancel and get a refund, such as a 14-day cooling-off period, you can use it by contacting us.
If we change prices, we will tell you at least 30 days before the change applies to your plan.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Card statements show "ADVAISE CHIZU".
Your content
Everything you put in Chizu stays yours. You give us permission to store, process and display it only so we can run Chizu for you.
You can export all your data at any time from Account → Export data.
You are responsible for what you add to Chizu and for having the right to add it.
AI features
Some features use AI with an API key you provide. Your use of that key is also governed by the AI provider’s own terms, and you pay the provider for that use.
AI assistants you connect act on your instructions and under their provider’s terms. You choose which assistants to connect and can disconnect them at any time in Account → Connected apps.
AI suggestions can be wrong. Review them before you approve them.
Acceptable use
Do not use Chizu to break the law, to harm others, to store content you have no right to, or to interfere with the service or other users. Do not try to access data that is not yours.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Chizu available and your data safe, but we cannot promise the service will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
We may change or improve Chizu. If we make a change that significantly reduces what you paid for, we will tell you and you may cancel.
Your rights as a consumer
You may have rights under the consumer laws of the country where you live, such as the Australian Consumer Law, or consumer laws in the European Union or the United Kingdom. Nothing in these terms limits rights that those laws say cannot be limited.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Where the Australian Consumer Law applies, our liability for a failure of the service is limited to supplying it again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in Account → Delete account. This permanently deletes your data.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Where reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to export your data.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will tell you about significant changes before they apply. If you keep using Chizu after that, the new terms apply.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and may bring claims in its courts.
